Personal Relationship with Jesus

Matthew 5:19“Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

20“For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

When you stand before Jesus, He will not ask you what you were taught. He will evaluate you on the basis of what YOU taught and did.

Many leave their future to others. This is unacceptable. You will be held accountable for how much you lived your life abiding...drawing on the conversation...in Jesus.

John 15:1“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.

2“Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away;fn and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

3“You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.

4“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

5“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

6“If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

If you abide in an apostle, pastor, prophet, teacher, or worker of miracles, you will bear a fallen man's fruit...you can only abide in Jesus

Matthew 23:9“Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven.

10“And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ.

11“But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant.

12“And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.

13“But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.

Apostles, pastors, prophets, teachers...these are given as servants to the body for now. A faithful one uses that position to point others to Jesus. Responsibly drawing from other people requires we take what they say to the Lord and let HIM sift truth.

1 Thessalonians 5:19 Do not quench the Spirit.

20 Do not despise prophecies.

21 Test all things; hold fast what is good.

Where are you leading others? What fruit are you bearing? Where are you abiding? Are you awakening to the return of Jesus, or drawing the sap of sleep from the branch you feed from?

If you are abiding in Jesus, He is only talking about the many facets of His return....always....

1 John 2 1:18 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.

19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.

20But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.

21I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
