Jesus' Reign

People that believe Jesus is returning soon tend to want to build Him a throne in their lives. People that aren't so sure tend to want someone else to build them a throne.

One of the most helpful things the Lord has ever done for me is show me how it is possible He is returning very soon, and then have me publicly commit to that idea by stating it in no uncertain terms. It awakened my heart in a way that really only happens one way...it put "my skin in His game" of returning.

I might be wrong... It wouldnt be the first or last time, im sure. I have been wrong many times in my life... But I will never regret living like Jesus is returning in 5 years. I have been living this way for two years now...my family is tighter than ever, my heart is burning, my vision is vibrant...my marriage is good...my soul is alive, by God's mercy and grace. Believing the light of mankind is coming has given me huge incentive to get near Him. When you get near the author of life, you live better...

I could be wrong, but I am learning to not be surprised by that idea! This is humility: knowing what I bring to the table and knowing what God brings. I just bring me...God brings everything else. I am certainly wrong about some things....If I knew what they were, I would change my mind! I will simply keep watching, praying, adjusting, learning to see...humility says true things fully realizing we see in part. Arrogance is terrified of being wrong...because arrogance is built on itself...on its own strength. Standing with Jesus revealed a ton of arrogance in my heart...but the process of standing has been healing it!

I do, in fact, more than ever, believe Jesus is returning very soon...I believe, more than ever, in the times... The fulfillment of a couple of key dates... the Lord has shown me...I fear being wrong less than ever, because the fire of Jesus burning in my heart has entirely changed what I look forward to. I wouldn't trade the fire in my heart for anything or anyone.

It is Biblical to take a stand on what God shows you...it is Biblical to burn with vision for His return...this is what makes space for Him to reign NOW...not someday:

1 John 2:18Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.

1 Corinthians 7:29But this I say, brethren, the time is short, so that from now on even those who have wives should be as though they had none,

30those who weep as though they did not weep, those who rejoice as though they did not rejoice, those who buy as though they did not possess,

31and those who use this world as not misusing it. For the form of this world is passing away.

1 Peter 4:17For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?

I'm in good company. Believing Jesus is returning soon is huge incentive to actually live like it...right or wrong...but, I do think I'm right. Don't take my word for it. Ask Him!

Revelation 1:1The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John,

2who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw.

3Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.
