Multiplication

Mark 6:38 But He said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see.” And when they found out they said, “Five, and two fish.”

39 Then He commanded them to make them all sit down in groups on the green grass.

40So they sat down in ranks, in hundreds and in fifties.

41And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among them all.

42 So they all ate and were filled.

43 And they took up twelve baskets full of fragments and of the fish.

44 Now those who had eaten the loaves were about five thousand men.

Later that evening:

49 And when they saw Him walking on the sea, they supposed it was a ghost, and cried out;

50 for they all saw Him and were troubled. But immediately He talked with them and said to them, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.”

51 Then He went up into the boat to them, and the wind ceased. And they were greatly amazed in themselves beyond measure, and marveled.

52 For they had not understood about the loaves, because their heart was hardened.

The disciples didn't believe or understand that Jesus miraculously fed five thousand PLUS women and children with five loaves of bread and two fish...

Let that sink in for a moment...

They found the bread...they handed out the bread...they watched everyone eat...they took up the 12 baskets left over... Yet they "had not understood about the loaves, because their heart was hardened."

This should be a massive warning to believers. Many erroneously think "God would not let me be deceived" yet over and over Jesus warns His friends:

Luke 21:8 And He said: “Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time has drawn near.’ Therefore do not go after them.

1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,

10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

1 Corinthians 15:33 Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.”

34 Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.

(Reader know what this means)

2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted—you may well put up with it!

Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.

2 Timothy 3:12Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

13 But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

James 1:15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

16Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren.

(Why did James say this to believers?)

Revelation 20:10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

To believe I cannot be deceived because I love Jesus is simple arrogance...putting my logic and emotion above the word. It is the opposite of love. Love is expressed in reaching for obedience to Jesus' commands...humbling yourself to respond to the word:

John 14:21“He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

We live in the hour of "greater things" which will soon break out, yet we also live in the hour or greatest deception, which is also breaking out...first in the Church, and then in the world. The stakes are high, and the eternal cost is real. There is no warm up game. You are picking your eternal future right now. Many think "Jesus won't let me miss it"... This is a lie. If I am not responding to His leadership, He will not only let me miss it...He promises I will:

2 Thessalonians 2:10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,

12that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

This is a warning to believers, speaking of the falling away of the Church. Bad company does, in fact, ruin good character, and many will fall away as a group. Do not be deceived. This has been promised for thousands of years:

Matthew 24:8“All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.

10“And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.

11“Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.

12“And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

13“But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

The false teachers will lie with confidence and false love. They will say of those who contend for truth "they are teaching a false Gospel of works.". All the while keeping people comfortable to not respond to the instructions of the Lord in this hour...they are stealing the future of the Bride for their own gain...ravenous wolves among the sheep:

Matthew 7:14“Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

15“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

The ravenous wolves try to keep the sheep calm and distracted...they keep them still so they are easier to take from. A moving sheep is hard to eat. If you partner with these ravenous wolves who try to keep the flock still so they can eat more....they say " there is nothing to see...nothing to fear...those others are stirring people up for their own gain"...if you stick with these liars, you are counted with them:

Proverbs 29:24 Whoever is a partner with a thief hates his own life;

He swears to tell the truth, but reveals nothing.

25The fear of man brings a snare,

But whoever trusts in the LORD shall be safe.

26 Many seek the ruler’s favor,

But justice for man comes from the LORD.

Not one time did Jesus say "keep calm and carry on when the day of my return approaches"... He always said the opposite...watch, pray, be ready...the coming of the Lord should lead me to action:

Matthew 24:44“Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

45“Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?

46“Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing.

47“Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods.

Now is the hour to be alert and awake...to respond....to repent...to tell others and to come out of the comfort and into a zealous response.... for the day of the Lord is at hand. This isn't about running around in panic, but it is about a sober-minded response to the hour that will actually lead me and those I love to be joyful and full of power as the intensity increases. It is harvest time. Harvest is different than the summer growing season.

Doing the same things the church has always done will leave the church with the same power she has had...are you satisfied with that? Do you really think Jesus is content to see his bride- to -be never mature into the greater things...lovesickness....power? Do you think the groom is fine if his wife is never led to leave the playground and get ready for the battle promised to come?

The harvest is white with readiness...it is the Church that is ill prepared. How can she lead a world into repentance if she wont go in first? Miraculous signs are happening all around us, yet, if I don't TRY to see them, I will miss them. If even Jesus' best friends missed the miraculous feeding of thousands...even as they handed out the bread...what kind of pride is keeping me from seeing what is transpiring all around us? Forever I will live with what I am choosing in this amazing hour...

There is an easy answer to the deception and dullness that is trying to steal our eternal greatness... Praying always...24/7... For real...but we have to actually want to do it as an end time answer to deception. We have to stop partnering with thieves.... Ravenous wolves who try to direct the church to build them a throne, rather than lay down their own agendas to build Jesus one.

Do not be deceived...

Luke 21:33“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

34“But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly.

35“For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth.

36“Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
