War

Right now there is a great war being waged. Before the effects of the war are seen on earth, the actual war rages in the heavenlies. This war is being caused by people, although most of them have no idea they are causing it!


Daniel fought in a much smaller, but similar war. Daniel thought He was just praying, but He was actually instigating a great and important battle, that resulted ultimately in the preincarnate Jesus coming against the demonic enemies of Daniel's people to earth to give Daniel the most important end-time revelation for OUR generation. Thank you, Daniel!


Daniel 10:2-7, 10-14 In those days I, Daniel, was mourning three full weeks. I ate no pleasant food, no meat or wine came into my mouth, nor did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled. Now on the twenty-fourth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, that is, the Tigris, I lifted my eyes and looked, and behold, a certain man clothed in linen, whose waist was girded with gold of Uphaz! His body was like beryl, his face like the appearance of lightning, his eyes like torches of fire, his arms and feet like burnished bronze in color, and the sound of his words like the voice of a multitude. And I, Daniel, alone saw the vision, for the men who were with me did not see the vision; but a great terror fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves... Suddenly, a hand touched me, which made me tremble on my knees and on the palms of my hands. And he said to me, “O Daniel, man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright, for I have now been sent to you.” While he was speaking this word to me, I stood trembling. Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia. Now I have come to make you understand what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision refers to many days yet to come. ”


Daniel's praying and fasting initiated a sequence of events in heaven that resulted in a serious battle and a revelation of the antichrist that is essential for our generation (reported in Daniel 11 and 12). Like I said, this is Jesus talking to Daniel. The description of Him perfectly matches John's description of Jesus in Revelation 1:


Revelation 1:13-17 and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters; He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength. And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.


I love how every time someone sees Jesus in His glory, they "fall like a dead man!" Now this raises a couple of questions: 1. Why is uncreated Jesus allowing some measly created demons to resist Him? 2. What caused Jesus to step away from His throne room and come to earth?


These questions are incredibly important for me to understand what is happening in heaven right now, and what is about to happen on earth. When God made man, He gave Him dominion over the earth:


Psalms 115:16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord ’s; But the earth He has given to the children of men.


God made mankind to govern the earth in partnership with God. When Adam and Eve rebelled, mankind transferred their allegiance in the governing coalition to satan by trusting his words over God. Satan said this when tempting Jesus in the desert:


Luke 4:5-8 Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.” And Jesus answered and said to him, “Get behind Me, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ”


Jesus came to earth to win back, as a man, what Adam had lost: the ability for mankind to govern earth in partnership with God forever. By not taking satan's shortcut, Jesus did win it all back! God created the universe to stand on order...on rules...on laws. God, because He is only Truth, never violates the laws that creation hangs on. When God gave dominion to mankind, He meant it. When Jesus won it back for the re-establishment of the mankind/God coalition, it was for real.


At the time of Daniel's fast, mankind was excercising dominion in a fallen state. As soon as one man named Daniel started resisting the usurping forces that were oppressing Israel, heaven went into action. Because of the laws governing the unseen kingdoms, heaven would not move until a man on earth initiated the battle. Daniel thought he was just humbling himself before God, but Jesus said that he actually started an important battle in heaven. 21 days later, Daniel saw the results on earth of what had been taking place for three whole weeks!


Jesus is powerful enough that at anytime, with a word, he could send the demon prince of persia to hell forever! BUT, Jesus has chosen a process that agrees with heaven's order, and is all designed to redeem the most people, with the least intense means necessary, without ever violating anyone's free will. Jesus has fully committed to love, which requires a complete commitment to free will, which results in the one who creates and destroys with the simple utterance of His words bridling himself...all the while smiling, because He KNOWS he will win.


This isn't an epic battle between two opposite but equal forces. Darkness can simply not exist in the presence of the Light. Uncreated Jesus is infinitely more powerful than the created devil, BUT because God wants His sons and daughters in the family business of ruling over all creation, Jesus has committed to a process that honors the laws He has woven into the fabric of creation.


Heaven moves at the sound of your voice. Right now, many voices are starting to lift up seemingly weak words to the invisible Jesus. As the intensity of events in the world "heat up" some have actually started to pray. This is initiating battles that will only be fought when mankind prays. We don't see anything happening, but right now, heaven is actually beginning to convulse with battle...how many days until we see the results on earth? Heaven is crying out: DON'T STOP SAINTS!...heaven has committed to moving at the sound of OUR voices. This battle will result in satan and his minions actually being cast out of the mid heavens. This will result in a very intense time on earth that will last 1,260 days, but will result in the liberation of all of heaven and earth, and then renewal of all things!!


Revelation 12:7-12 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”


The nature of the battle people are waging is about their geographic locations. All over the earth, small communities of believers are banding together to take authority over the darkness...over the schools, and the streets, and the government, and the hospitals...the strip clubs...corruption, witchcraft...the gangs...the violence. The people of earth are crying out for heaven to break in...to know Jesus better...to see Him more clearly. Expecting to see Him "do stuff." The people of earth, in numbers as small as two or three, and as great as hundreds and thousands, are starting to see heavenly help is their only hope...just like Daniel did...


Right now, all of heaven is rejoicing...sword in hand, dashing the traitors who have dwelt in their midst for too long. The Lord of Heavens Armies is finding men and women willing to begin trying to "stand in the gap and build a wall" around their cities.


Ezekiel 22:30 So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.


This is going to build until the watchmen and women worship and pray day and night, and witness heaven moving more and more...literally until heaven comes to earth and the agreement between resurrected saints, angels, natural men and women, and Jesus is openly seen by all!


Now is the time to press in. Our words are moving heaven in a way we cannot see yet! Don't give up, don't give in, and we will win.

Not every city will do this, but the ones that do will see supernatural protection when the "prince and power of the air" is finally cast to earth!
