Making Peace
Another tell-tale sign of what is really happening in Israel. The political bluster is hard to distill and discern...and many have lost interest in what is happening, but this is important to take the time understand what is happening and what it means for the world. This has never happened before, and thousands of years ago prophets were told these things would happen in the order they are happening in!
the Israelis are steadily beginning to show signs of significant changes in their mindset. They are readying to make peace...the right wing of their politics is quickly losing ground to the left, who is ready to pull back and meet the demands of those around them. This is a new dynamic at a time where that appears to be VERY risky.
This article describes what would be the equivalent of the EPA saying "we are not going to plan on regulating Texas anymore, since Mexico is probably going to get it back anyway"
Almost no one is watching the biggest news story of the last 2,000 years play out. If a 7-Year, time limited, security agreement between Israel and a global superpower is part of this peace deal...from the time that agreement is confirmed by the leader of that superpower, it will be 7 years until the second coming of Jesus...but the Bible says few will notice these very obvious things happening:
Matthew 24:37-39 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
The time that starts with a 7-year peace deal will be so intense many who believe in Jesus will "quit"...they will fall away because the intensity increases so rapidly:
Matthew 24:10-13 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
Paul talked about the falling away, as well...he connected it to false peace:
I Thessalonians 5:1-4 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.
II Thessalonians 2:1-3 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,
This is how people fall away...they don't get ready...establish roots in the truth:
Luke 8:13 But the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away.
Falling away, at the time of the end means exchanging your salvation for the plan of the end-times most popular guy...the antichrist. He will offer the world an economic and political solution to the very mess he had a large hand in creating. Falling away has permanent consequences:
Hebrews 6:4-6 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.
Jesus has a whole plan...clearly laid out in the Bible...to embrace in the time leading up to these rapidly accelerating events. If you believe in Jesus you are supposed to:
1. Know the plan with clarity
2. Be taking steps to agree with the plan with your time, money, and energy
3. Be praying in agreement with the plan
Mark 13:32-33 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is.
Matthew 24:44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
