This Practical Response to the Trouble You See All Around You:
The return of Jesus is great AND terrible. This is because the earth is being divided into two camps...two worship movements...two "mountains". There are false mountains...there have been seven throughout history…seven times the leader of the world’s largest empire has become so arrogant that he has demanded to be worshiped as God…and an eight is rising up right now...
Revelation 17:9-11 "Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. 10 There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue a short time. 11 The beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition.
BUT, this is simply satan's attempt to put on of His kids on a false mountain of worship to imitate the TRUE uncreated God! God has the true mountains...mountains of night and day worship to God, like David raised up by starting night and day prayer on Ornan’s (or Aruna's) threshing floor in Israel.
2 Chronicles 3:1 Now Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the LORD had appeared to his father David, at the place that David had prepared on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
This place became the Temple Mount…the mountain of the Lord built on night and day worship. This was a template for the end time. BOTH the true mountains (wheat) and the false mountains (tares) are promised to mature to full strength and expression in the last days before Jesus returns.
One camp, the Holy Mountain camp, is comprised of those who make God their only strength. The other, the camp of the Babylon pyramid...the false mountain... will trust more and more in the strength of people and finally fear the power of one man, as they give him their freedom in exchange for his promise to save them from the trouble (he created).
The people ascending God's holy mountain are growing in a chosen dependence on God. They are actually casting off all other strength in favor of making partnership with God their only plan to endure the hour. This is Jesus' pure and spotless Bride. They respond to the hour with worship and prayer to make God their delight and strength. This was Jehoshaphat's actual battle plan spoken to him by the prophet, and he humbly obeyed:
II Chronicles 20:20-22 So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.” And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord , and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: “Praise the Lord , For His mercy endures forever.” Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.
Those who make God their strength do so by delighting in, resting, and trusting in God, and God responds. They make God their Father, and He treats them and protects them as His children. It has always been this way. This is the end time plan for those loyal to Jesus. When you see the enemy armies growing in the middle east and spreading out, this is actually the practical Biblical response that pleases God:
Psalms 37:1-9 Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb. Trust in the Lord , and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord , And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord , Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday. Rest in the Lord , and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret— it only causes harm. For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the Lord , They shall inherit the earth.
Those that do this, do so primarily by reaching to encounter God in night and day worship..climbing His Holy Mountain. God delights in them and will let them "ascend His Holy Mountain" as they seek God first. This is the Generation of Jacob, who seek God's face. Jacob wrestled with God for the blessing, and one generation of God’s people will respond to the trouble they see on the horizon. They will wrestle in night and day worship for the greatest blessing ever…seeing the Lord return to earth…for realsies. They, with their worship, are actually dying to themselves more and more and opening heaven...which means signs, wonders, angelic encounters, Jesus encounters, miraculous deliverance and protection. This is the process of “opening the ancient gates”...the veil between heaven and earth...more and more until Jesus returns:
Psalms 24:3-9 Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord ? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the Lord , And righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face. Selah Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.
Right now, God is raising up BOTH camps by allowing everyone to get more of what they want. Want more of God? Then you are in for the ride of your life. Want a government to make things fair and better for you? You will get the last attempt at a socialist experiment that will be the fullest expression of the evil of every other socialist experiment…world war, famine, death, disease, and an outlawing of Jesus…for real.
Evil men are being empowered in this hour. God has allowed this to happen many times in order to "thresh"...to sift...His people. The end time shaking, or sifting, will be the most intense the earth has ever seen...more intense than when God used Nebuchadnezzar to sift Israel. The antichrist is building the end time Babylon mountain right now...in this hour. He is hijacking radical Islamist energy and ideology to do it. You can see this happening right now if you look. He is using this as a straw man...he is lighting a fire with maniacs, so that HE can be the answer to the fire. He is heating up the world to remake it to his hearts evil desire...a socialist utopia not loyal to any god but him...for real...that is what he is doing:
Daniel 11:15, 36-39 “Then the king (antichrist) shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the wrath has been accomplished; for what has been determined shall be done. He shall regard neither the God of his fathers nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall exalt himself above them all. But in their place he shall honor a god of fortresses; and a god which his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things. Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain.
The antichrist USES radical Islam, though he submits to no god but his own intellect, which he considers to be above everyone else’s intellect. He is building a mountain of worship to himself. He is the one who will swoop in and save the day from the calamity HE created, and then he will demand to be worshiped, just like all the others did:
Daniel 8:23-25 “And in the latter time of their kingdom, When the transgressors have reached their fullness, A king shall arise, Having fierce features, Who understands sinister schemes. His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power; He shall destroy fearfully, And shall prosper and thrive; He shall destroy the mighty, and also the holy people. “Through his cunning He shall cause deceit to prosper under his rule; And he shall exalt himself in his heart. He shall destroy many in their prosperity. He shall even rise against the Prince of princes; But he shall be broken without human means.
This is all about this last guy getting himself some worship, just like Antiochus Epiphanes, who that Daniel 8 passage is also about. Antichrist is ultimately going to do this by setting up a statue of himself on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, just like Antiochus, in an effort to hijack the earth for his dad, satan. He will get a mountain there for a few years. While doing this, he will desolate...God will actually use him to desolate...the rest of the world, primarily the antichrist's home country...the end time Babylon.
God is allowing this to happen to "sift"...to thresh...the wheat and the tares. Only wheat...the true grains are going to live on earth with Jesus forever:
Matthew 13:38-43 The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. 39 The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. 40 Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. 41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, 42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
Threshing is the harvest activity that separates. This sifting will touch the whole globe. It is starting in the middle east, but it will touch EVERY nation. That is where we come back to the "two mountains." There is a safe mountain to run to, just like Lot ran to Zoar as Sodom was about to be destroyed in Genesis 20. These “holy mountains” are the end time "safe place." These are the same mountains of David...the Tabernacle of David...night and day prayer and worship that you choose to build in your town if you want a safe mountain to come into:
Amos 9:9-12 “For surely I will command, And will sift the house of Israel among all nations, As grain is sifted in a sieve; Yet not the smallest grain shall fall to the ground. All the sinners of My people shall die by the sword, Who say, ‘The calamity shall not overtake nor confront us.’ “On that day I will raise up The tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, And repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, And rebuild it as in the days of old; That they may possess the remnant of Edom, And all the Gentiles who are called by My name,” Says the Lord who does this thing.
Right now, the whole earth is being "hemmed in" to a decision. That is why the news is getting worse and worse. It will get much worse as it spreads out over the earth. You need a practical answer. Turning on the tube and pretending it isn’t happening really isn’t working, is it? Shopping doesn’t stop ISIS. Making a tasty dinner or taking a better vacation doesn’t seem to calm things down…the trouble is right there every time you check back in to reality. God is done waiting to come home. The earth must get ready.
You really need to pick your strength and then start doing something with your choice. You must "get ready"...getting saved is not the same as getting ready...saved people need to get ready. Jesus told His disciples they would need to endure the end times in Matthew 24. This is all based on choosing to either fight like Jehoshaphat, or being on that OTHER evil man-based Babylon mountain:
Joel 3:9-14 Proclaim this among the nations: "Prepare for war! Wake up the mighty men, Let all the men of war draw near, Let them come up. 10 Beat your plowshares into swords And your pruning hooks into spears; Let the weak say, 'I am strong.' " 11 Assemble and come, all you nations, And gather together all around. Cause Your mighty ones to go down there, O LORD. 12 "Let the nations be wakened, and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; For there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations. 13 Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, go down; For the winepress is full, The vats overflow— For their wickedness is great." 14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
The earth is being driven into this choice right now. The Bible describes the dynamics of the “hemming in”…wars and rumors of war, natural disasters, financial calamity, outbreaks of disease, famine…these are reaching a crescendo in order to move people one way or the other. Jesus is causing a storm to rise up on the sea so those in the boat will rise up and tell the world they can cry out to Him. That is what the Holy Mountains are all about…they are the place Jesus will pour out His spirit so that every one who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
The great commission started in little “high place”…an “upper room.” There, the disciples gathered in one accord, cried out in one accord for power to come from on high so that they could go out and do the great commission. Jesus said it would start in Jerusalem and get finished in the ends of the earth. You live in the generation that will see it finished:
Luke 24:46-49 Then He said to them, "Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, 47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 And you are witnesses of these things. 49 Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high."
The Body of believers has grown over the last 2,000 years and spread out over the earth. That means the upper rooms…the mountains of night and day prayer…will also spread out globally. Now there are two camps that are emerging in the harvest season. Isaiah prophesied this would happen. Look at this passage knowing it is describing not one army and one mountain, but two armies and two mountains:
Isaiah 13:1-9 The burden against Babylon which Isaiah the son of Amoz saw.
The Holy Mountain:
“Lift up a banner on the high mountain, Raise your voice to them; Wave your hand, that they may enter the gates of the nobles. I have commanded My sanctified ones; I have also called My mighty ones for My anger— Those who rejoice in My exaltation.”
The Babylon mountain:
The noise of a multitude in the mountains, Like that of many people! A tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together! The Lord of hosts musters The army for battle. They come from a far country, From the end of heaven— The Lord and His weapons of indignation, To destroy the whole land. Wail, for the day of the Lord is at hand! It will come as destruction from the Almighty. Therefore all hands will be limp, Every man’s heart will melt, And they will be afraid. Pangs and sorrows will take hold of them; They will be in pain as a woman in childbirth; They will be amazed at one another; Their faces will be like flames. Behold, the day of the Lord comes, Cruel, with both wrath and fierce anger, To lay the land desolate; And He will destroy its sinners from it.
If you happen to live in the land of the end time Babylon, you need to come out. Where do you “come in” to? The Tabernacle of David. You trade the “American dream” which has corrupted the people’s of the earth with a false idea of what life is really about, for David’s dream…the dream of being with God face to face again. If you make this hard trade, you WILL be kept safe in the time of trouble:
Psalms 27:1-8 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell. 3 Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident. 4 One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple. 5 For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. 6 And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD. 7 Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me, and answer me. 8 When You said, "Seek My face," My heart said to You, "Your face, LORD, I will seek.

Look at the trouble, look at the ones stirring it up by their arrogance and treachery, and look at the nation you live in. Could this be any place but here, and any time but now? You are gonna need a Holy Mountain. But only YOU can choose it for you.

While doing this, he will desolate...God will actually use him to desolate...the rest of the world, primarily the antichrist's home country...the end time Babylon.
God is allowing this to happen to "sift"...to thresh...the wheat and the tares. Only wheat...the true grains are going to live on earth with Jesus forever:
Matthew 13:38-43 The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. 39 The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. 40 Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. 41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, 42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
Threshing is the harvest activity that separates. This sifting will touch the whole globe. It is starting in the middle east, but it will touch EVERY nation. That is where we come back to the "two mountains." There is a safe mountain to run to, just like Lot ran to Zoar as Sodom was about to be destroyed in Genesis 20. These “holy mountains” are the end time "safe place." These are the same mountains of David...the Tabernacle of David...night and day prayer and worship that you choose to build in your town if you want a safe mountain to come into:
Amos 9:9-12 “For surely I will command, And will sift the house of Israel among all nations, As grain is sifted in a sieve; Yet not the smallest grain shall fall to the ground. All the sinners of My people shall die by the sword, Who say, ‘The calamity shall not overtake nor confront us.’ “On that day I will raise up The tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, And repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, And rebuild it as in the days of old; That they may possess the remnant of Edom, And all the Gentiles who are called by My name,” Says the Lord who does this thing.
Right now, the whole earth is being "hemmed in" to a decision. That is why the news is getting worse and worse. It will get much worse as it spreads out over the earth. You need a practical answer. Turning on the tube and pretending it isn’t happening really isn’t working, is it? Shopping doesn’t stop ISIS. Making a tasty dinner or taking a better vacation doesn’t seem to calm things down…the trouble is right there every time you check back in to reality. God is done waiting to come home. The earth must get ready.
You really need to pick your strength and then start doing something with your choice. You must "get ready"...getting saved is not the same as getting ready...saved people need to get ready. Jesus told His disciples they would need to endure the end times in Matthew 24. This is all based on choosing to either fight like Jehoshaphat, or being on that OTHER evil man-based Babylon mountain:
Joel 3:9-14 Proclaim this among the nations: "Prepare for war! Wake up the mighty men, Let all the men of war draw near, Let them come up. 10 Beat your plowshares into swords And your pruning hooks into spears; Let the weak say, 'I am strong.' " 11 Assemble and come, all you nations, And gather together all around. Cause Your mighty ones to go down there, O LORD. 12 "Let the nations be wakened, and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; For there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations. 13 Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, go down; For the winepress is full, The vats overflow— For their wickedness is great." 14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
The earth is being driven into this choice right now. The Bible describes the dynamics of the “hemming in”…wars and rumors of war, natural disasters, financial calamity, outbreaks of disease, famine…these are reaching a crescendo in order to move people one way or the other. Jesus is causing a storm to rise up on the sea so those in the boat will rise up and tell the world they can cry out to Him. That is what the Holy Mountains are all about…they are the place Jesus will pour out His spirit so that every one who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
The great commission started in little “high place”…an “upper room.” There, the disciples gathered in one accord, cried out in one accord for power to come from on high so that they could go out and do the great commission. Jesus said it would start in Jerusalem and get finished in the ends of the earth. You live in the generation that will see it finished:
Luke 24:46-49 Then He said to them, "Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, 47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 And you are witnesses of these things. 49 Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high."
The Body of believers has grown over the last 2,000 years and spread out over the earth. That means the upper rooms…the mountains of night and day prayer…will also spread out globally. Now there are two camps that are emerging in the harvest season. Isaiah prophesied this would happen. Look at this passage knowing it is describing not one army and one mountain, but two armies and two mountains:
Isaiah 13:1-9 The burden against Babylon which Isaiah the son of Amoz saw.
The Holy Mountain:
“Lift up a banner on the high mountain, Raise your voice to them; Wave your hand, that they may enter the gates of the nobles. I have commanded My sanctified ones; I have also called My mighty ones for My anger— Those who rejoice in My exaltation.”
The Babylon mountain:
The noise of a multitude in the mountains, Like that of many people! A tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together! The Lord of hosts musters The army for battle. They come from a far country, From the end of heaven— The Lord and His weapons of indignation, To destroy the whole land. Wail, for the day of the Lord is at hand! It will come as destruction from the Almighty. Therefore all hands will be limp, Every man’s heart will melt, And they will be afraid. Pangs and sorrows will take hold of them; They will be in pain as a woman in childbirth; They will be amazed at one another; Their faces will be like flames. Behold, the day of the Lord comes, Cruel, with both wrath and fierce anger, To lay the land desolate; And He will destroy its sinners from it.
If you happen to live in the land of the end time Babylon, you need to come out. Where do you “come in” to? The Tabernacle of David. You trade the “American dream” which has corrupted the people’s of the earth with a false idea of what life is really about, for David’s dream…the dream of being with God face to face again. If you make this hard trade, you WILL be kept safe in the time of trouble:
Psalms 27:1-8 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell. 3 Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident. 4 One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple. 5 For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. 6 And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD. 7 Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me, and answer me. 8 When You said, "Seek My face," My heart said to You, "Your face, LORD, I will seek.

Let those who have ears, hear, and those who eyes see, NOW is the time to heed this warning:
Revelation 18:1-24 After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. 2 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! 3 For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury." 4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. 5 For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. 6 Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her. 7 In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, 'I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.' 8 Therefore her plagues will come in one day—death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her. 9 "The kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her will weep and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning, 10 standing at a distance for fear of her torment, saying, 'Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour your judgment has come.' 11 "And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise anymore: 12 merchandise of gold and silver, precious stones and pearls, fine linen and purple, silk and scarlet, every kind of citron wood, every kind of object of ivory, every kind of object of most precious wood, bronze, iron, and marble; 13 and cinnamon and incense, fragrant oil and frankincense, wine and oil, fine flour and wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and bodies and souls of men. 14 The fruit that your soul longed for has gone from you, and all the things which are rich and splendid have gone from you, and you shall find them no more at all. 15 The merchants of these things, who became rich by her, will stand at a distance for fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, 16 and saying, 'Alas, alas, that great city that was clothed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls! 17 For in one hour such great riches came to nothing.' Every shipmaster, all who travel by ship, sailors, and as many as trade on the sea, stood at a distance 18 and cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, 'What is like this great city?' 19 "They threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping and wailing, and saying, 'Alas, alas, that great city, in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in one hour she is made desolate.' 20 "Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, for God has avenged you on her!" 21 Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, "Thus with violence the great city Babylon shall be thrown down, and shall not be found anymore. 22 The sound of harpists, musicians, flutists, and trumpeters shall not be heard in you anymore. No craftsman of any craft shall be found in you anymore, and the sound of a millstone shall not be heard in you anymore. 23 The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore, and the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you anymore. For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived. 24 And in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth."
Look at the trouble, look at the ones stirring it up by their arrogance and treachery, and look at the nation you live in. Could this be any place but here, and any time but now? You are gonna need a Holy Mountain. But only YOU can choose it for you.
