Glory and Tribulation

Seven distinctly different churches go in to the end time tribulation, and what comes out the other side is one pure and spotless Bride. Tribulation...the refining fire...is what will produce one pure and spotless Bride representing Jesus to a very confused world. The first disciples always knew tribulation is really good for believers:

Romans 5:1-4 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.

What Paul was basically saying here was that no matter what kind of storm is going on, WE have peace because we are right with God...the author of the story. If you are friends with the Author of the Story, then the story is always good for you. Paul said the story of the world is perfectly written to prepare anyone willing for something much bigger than the minutes of trouble before Jesus returns. Tribulation is actually preparing us to live for trillions of years in "glory."

Tribulation points you to God, if you love Him. It causes you to lean on Him by touching things that you think you need. This will drive a person who loves God to Him...to His light, or glory.

Glory is another term for the light...or fire...of God. Right now, the Three in One...God...is really Bright. Each person of the Godhead has a glory unique to them and they are all fire!

The Holy Spirit is a flame of fire...a seven fold flame of fire:

Revelation 4:5 And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

The Father sits on a throne of fire (Daniel 7) and is Himself, bright red fire, like a Sardius stone, which was a ruby red color, surrounded by an emerald rainbow. This is the "burning bush":

Revelation 4:2-3 Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald.

Jesus is on a sapphire (deep blue) throne and is also fiery in appearance like burnished bronze...orange fire, like the sun:

Ezekiel 1:26-28 And above the firmament over their heads was the likeness of a throne, in appearance like a sapphire stone; on the likeness of the throne was a likeness with the appearance of a man high above it. Also from the appearance of His waist and upward I saw, as it were, the color of amber with the appearance of fire all around within it; and from the appearance of His waist and downward I saw, as it were, the appearance of fire with brightness all around. Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord . So when I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of One speaking.

Matthew 17:1-3 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.

When Peter saw the real Jesus, he did not want to leave...he forgot everything at the bottom of that mountain. When Jesus returns, you are gonna feel the same way IF you love God...if you have loved His leadership and been SEEKING to live more and more in His glory...BUT, if you haven't been seeking Him, and patiently enduring tribulation in faith that His leadership is good no matter what the world is saying...knowing that you are about to see Him...if you have no hope that His glory is what YOU were made to live in, then His glory emerging...day by day, like the dawning of the sun...is going to be a very bad experience for you...for real. It all has to do with whether you desired God! Everyone gets what they want, including God, who IS coming! If you are seeking His face, His glory is what you were after! His face is glorious bright fire! If you weren't seeking His face, His face will terrify:

Revelation 6:15-17 And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

This is the plan of of God: to sift the earth by releasing mankind to more and more of their desire. The desire of evil men will cause great tribulation, BUT God works all things for the good of...who? Right, those who agree with His purpose, which blossoms in full through the tribulation:

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

(that is an end time passage in its context, btw)

If you desire the glory...the light of God... touching your mind and body, you are in for a very good time...tribulation is VERY good for you, because you are on the right side of it. If you desire anything else, you are in for a very bad time...for real...because you will be on the wrong side of tribulation. It all has to do with your desire:

II Thessalonians 1:6-10 since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed.

That is what the Book of Revelation is describing...the dawning of glory back on earth. When God created our planet in Genesis 1, He made all living things to flourish in His light. Jesus is brighter than the sun...His natural state is actually brighter than the sun. After making the trees and grass in Genesis 1:11, Jesus made the sun and the moon in Genesis 1:16. The sun is a dim alternative...a night light...to give us just enough light to live until Jesus comes back. When Jesus returns, that dim sun will no longer be necessary:

Revelation 21:23 The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light.

The pure and spotless Bride elects herself...sanctifies herself...separates herself out from the world based entirely on her desire...what she is living for. Jesus prayed for this in John 17. As the darkness of night descends on earth, the bright light of glory will arise...depending on what you desire, you will gravitate to one end of the spectrum or another...the maturing of the wheat and the tares is the maturing of darkness AND light.

The time we are entering is the fullness of glory and evil...both. One camp is sanctified...set apart from everybody else, cause they just want to see the burning face of God and reflect His light to the earth. In fact, reflecting God's glory, like the moon reflects the sun, is what the Bride sees as the only hope for the people of the world. They know that if they really love a dying world, then they have to be the means by which more glory floods the earth. "If we don't do it, who will?" is what they will say. They are willing to be "the mirrors" of Jesus' light by trading "normal life," even permissible distractions, to be glory reflectors. One here and two there will catch this wave of glory seeking and find themselves in the company of the others...just like in Acts 1 through 5, only global. This is "unity by division." It is the sdame way you seperate wheat from chaff...toss everything up (tribulation) and see what settles out.

This unified desire is what will make the Bride one, but also pure and spotless. Just like the imperfections on the moon leave shadows, the Bride will actively work to live more holy, so she can reflect the glory of God better...because she loves God, and she loves the world, because God so loves the world...this is what Jesus prayed for...lights in the dark night that He calls friends. He told God he gave them His glory...the very light Peter saw will manifest in the final generation that actually does this in the final storm of trouble:

John 17:15-23 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth. “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

This reflecting of Jesus glory is what will not only bring in the end time harvest, it will literally open the veil between heaven and earth, just like Jesus' glory suddenly made Moses and Elijah visible to Peter, James, and John!

That same glory Jesus has provisioned for the Bride...it will do the same thing globally that Jesus' unveiling of glory did on the top of that mountain. One generation...the generation of Jacob...the ones who wrestle through the night to get the blessing, will also be the ones to see God... to open heaven in advance of The Lord of Glory coming in! Psalm 24 tells of a global transfiguration experience...the same one Peter and John and James got a first taste of:

Psalms 24:3-10 Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord ? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the Lord , And righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face. Selah Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah
