Unprecedented

It is so important to understand the hour you live in. Right now, "unprecedented" is a word commonly used in the news...unprecedented political events, financial events, natural disasters...this is already an intense hour, and is promised to be much more intense. It isn't all negative, and it isn't all positive...it is the maturing of both.

If you don't understand the time, and what Jesus is accomplishing in this hour, you run the risk of responding wrongly to it. Everyone is responding. Some respond by saying "calm down. There is nothing to see here. Nothing to worry about." What they are really saying is nothing is any different and there is nothing to do. This is one of the worst lies on the planet right now.

II Peter 3:1-12 Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder), that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior, knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?

To not see the hour is to be a scoffer. Jesus WILL come like a theif to scoffers and those that buy their lie. That means great loss is coming to them. A response is required. There is stuff to DO and to TEACH. Jesus paid it all, that is true....but He paid it all so you could be a partner with God. You have work to do and insight to release. You have your part and God has His. It has always been this way. Jesus sent out 12 and then 72...they had important stuff to DO and TEACH.

This is the response that is REQUIRED:

Matthew 24:45-51 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods. But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Any Shepherd teaching you to do nothing different when you should be responding to the hour is leading you to the wrong place. Things are happening in the world that require UNDERSTANDING. We live in a culture that mostly wants to understand how to grow a nice garden, or redecorate a room, or make a healthy meal...but right this second, the King of Kings is orchestrating a hostile takeover of every world government and if you want to be His spouse, you are supposed to be doing your part....

HOSTILE TAKEOVER!!?? Tom, what are you talking about? See...you might have little understanding if that statement seemed weird to you. Listen, this is the process Jesus has begun:

Psalms 110:5-7 The Lord is at Your right hand; He shall execute kings in the day of His wrath. He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill the places with dead bodies, He shall execute the heads of many countries. He shall drink of the brook by the wayside; Therefore He shall lift up the head.

Which kings, Tom? Every one that doesn't make Jesus the center of his choices, words, and actions...do you watch the news? Right this minute, that is pretty much all of them...you gotta understand this.

Not every storm is a bad storm to be prayed against. God is using very intense means to wake people up. You really need to understand the specific information in the Bible if you want to pray in agreement with God, make choices in agreement with God, teach in agreement with God, and protect your family in the only way that actually agrees with God. Guns, food, water, changing government...none of these are Biblical ways to agree with God in this hour. Do you know what His plans are? Do you know what to watch for? Do you know how to pray? Do you have confidence that your family is safe from the tribulation events unfolding all around you? Pretending that just going to church is what it takes is...according to the Bible...a very ignorant way to approach the coming years:

Amos 9:9-10 “For surely I will command, And will sift the house of Israel among all nations, As grain is sifted in a sieve; Yet not the smallest grain shall fall to the ground. All the sinners of My people shall die by the sword, Who say, ‘The calamity shall not overtake nor confront us.’

If you say "nothing bad is gonna happen to me cause I know God"...the BIBLE says that is a recipe for "dying by the sword." There is more to it than false confidence that Jesus wants you to just mind your own business...making physical provision, without considering the one who owns the resources and has a very specific plan...or worse, to eat, drink, and be merry...cause tomorrow we die...that is actually what rebels do:

Isaiah 22:11-14 You also made a reservoir between the two walls For the water of the old pool. But you did not look to its Maker, Nor did you have respect for Him who fashioned it long ago. And in that day the Lord God of hosts Called for weeping and for mourning, For baldness and for girding with sackcloth. But instead, joy and gladness, Slaying oxen and killing sheep, Eating meat and drinking wine: “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!” Then it was revealed in my hearing by the Lord of hosts, “Surely for this iniquity there will be no atonement for you, Even to your death,” says the Lord God of hosts.

Right now, if you see the intensity increasing, and you want to agree with Jesus put down the remote, pick up your Bible and start the conversation with the Holy Spirit...this is a once in creation opportunity, and to waste it is the greatest travesty a Christian can participate in:

Psalms 83:1-18 Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, And do not be still, O God! For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; And those who hate You have lifted up their head. They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, And consulted together against Your sheltered ones. They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” For they have consulted together with one consent; They form a confederacy against You: The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab and the Hagrites; Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre; Assyria also has joined with them; They have helped the children of Lot. Selah Deal with them as with Midian, As with Sisera, As with Jabin at the Brook Kishon, Who perished at En Dor, Who became as refuse on the earth. Make their nobles like Oreb and like Zeeb, Yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna, Who said, “Let us take for ourselves The pastures of God for a possession.” O my God, make them like the whirling dust, Like the chaff before the wind! As the fire burns the woods, And as the flame sets the mountains on fire, So pursue them with Your tempest, And frighten them with Your storm. Fill their faces with shame, That they may seek Your name, O Lord . Let them be confounded and dismayed forever; Yes, let them be put to shame and perish, That they may know that You, whose name alone is the Lord , Are the Most High over all the earth.
