False Prophets

Some very famous leaders in the church are false prophets. They believe they are serving the Lord, but they are actually serving themselves by increasing their importance and their bank account. They really want to be your savior by telling you what to do and the process enriches them. They will do you no good.

The giveaway is in what they want to sell you. They tell you peace, but when you are done listening what you feel is afraid, and this drives you to buy whatever product they are selling... they are always selling something.

They talk like the dragon... which means they communicate to God's people just like satan. they use a lot of Bible verses, but they take the glorious meaning and turn it, intentionally or unintentionally, into a reason to be loyal to the prophet and/or buy His products.

The Bible is clear about how this operates. They may have true prophetic insight. Their ministry may even heal people, but their spiritual fruit is bad, and you can tell by what grows out of your heart and their hearts. They really increase fear, though they say "don't be afraid."

A true prophet tells the whole truth. God is coming to show every man based strength is a lie, and that anyone can tap into true strength... for free. You don't need to be dependent on the prophet, you don't need to buy anything... you need to learn to walk in supernatural strength to make it through the greatest trouble ever.

False prophets offer man-based strength to counter spiritual problems. Man-based answers will not endure. Survivalist supplies won't be enough. You need manna. The right army won't help you, you need heaven's armies. You don't need financial planning to make sure your assets are safe, you need to break every soul tie to your assets, to free your heart from the manipulation of the enemy.

Beware. I hear trusted household names using the trouble of the day to sell you more of themselves...

2 Peter 2:1-3 But there were also false prophets in Israel, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will cleverly teach destructive heresies and even deny the Master who bought them. In this way, they will bring sudden destruction on themselves. Many will follow their evil teaching and shameful immorality. And because of these teachers, the way of truth will be slandered. In their greed they will make up clever lies to get hold of your money. But God condemned them long ago, and their destruction will not be delayed.

Matthew 7:15-29 “Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves. You can identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act. Can you pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit. A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit. So every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire. Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions. “Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’

Here is the only safety:

“Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock. But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.” When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, for he taught with real authority—quite unlike their teachers of religious law.
