Harlot Unity
The Harlot Babylon has a religious component of unity. This corruption of religion will honor "God" and even Jesus...but they won't obey Him. They won't know Him, or in patience, listen for His instruction. The Harlot Babylon is the seed of the antichrist religion. It puts man's logic, impatience, and control over the humility required to wait on God.
The Harlot Babylon will claim to be Christian, just as the Antichrist spirit comes out from Christianity:
1 John 2:18Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.
19They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.
The Harlot Babylon religion will claim to be the true Christians....the tolerant and inclusive ones... Yet the truth is, they will be intolerant of anyone who disagrees with them. They will be exclusive of anyone actually loyal to Jesus...who stands for truth, no matter how popular, or unpopular, it is.
Right now, so many are desperate for hope they will join with anyone who vaguely honors "God", or quotes the Bible. Satan quotes the Bible better than most. Satan often tries to teach unity, power, and destiny:
Genesis 3:1Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”
2And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden;
3“but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’ ”
4Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.
5“For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
Satan presents himself as an angel of light...a messenger of truth and God:
2 Corinthians 11:13For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ.
14And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.
15Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
This "truth" will be accompanied by feelings of "presence"...eventually, it will even manifest in miracles:
2 Thessalonians 2:9The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,
10and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,
12that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Feelings of presence are not a reliable indicator of agreement with God. Unity is not a reliable indicator of agreement with God. Using, or even confessing, the name of Jesus is not a reliable indicator of agreement with God...
There is only ONE reliable indicator of agreement with God: manifesting the fruit of the Holy Spirit in TRUTH that agrees with the Bible and confessing that Jesus...humbling ourselves and patiently waiting on Him for vengeance... Is the only way to truth and life.
A Harlot tries to serve the same functions as a Bride...the Harlot will promise justice, and freedom, and truth, and unity, and destiny (golden cup)...but all she can really deliver is corruption (abomination is in that attractive cup).
Revelation 17:4The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication.
5And on her forehead a name was written:
MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
6I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.
Right now, many are calling evil good, and good evil, based on feelings, references to God, and unity, while literally at the same time these "moves" are full of profanity, division, impatience, and anger...none of the fruit of the Spirit.
This is the fruit that must be growing in order to reveal agreement with God:
Galatians 5:19Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
20idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
21envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
24And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
25If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
Many Christians will be deceived because they would not insist on not joining with...coming out of... those who walked in the flesh...who put on darkness for power.
Galatians 6:7Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
8For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
2 Corinthians 6:14Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
15And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?
2 Timothy 3:12Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
13But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.
14But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them,
15and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
Luke 21:7So they asked Him, saying, “Teacher, but when will these things be? And what sign will there be when these things are about to take place?”
8And He said: “Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time has drawn near.’ Therefore do not go after them.
Over and over, Jesus warned saved believers...even apostles...to "not be deceived"...
Many wrongly think that if it looks good to them, God must approve....if it feels good, God must be doing it, and if it produces unity, it must be God- driven...this is simple deception that is growing stronger every day.
It is essential that in this hour we get understanding. The time has drawn near that God will give many over to their own delusion...many will even lose their rewards and crowns that they have labored for years for:
Revelation 3:11“Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.
2 John 1:7For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
8Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward.
9Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son.
10If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him;
11for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.
Matthew 7:15“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
16“You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?
17“Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
18“A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.
19“Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
20“Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
21“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22“Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
23“And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
24“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
25“and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
26“But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:
27“and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”
Psalm 81:11“But My people would not heed My voice,
And Israel would have none of Me.
12So I gave them over to their own stubborn heart,
To walk in their own counsels.
13“Oh, that My people would listen to Me,
That Israel would walk in My ways!
14I would soon subdue their enemies,
And turn My hand against their adversaries.
15The haters of the LORD would pretend submission to Him,
But their fate would endure forever.
16He would have fed them also with the finest of wheat;
And with honey from the rock I would have satisfied you.”
