The Seals

The seals on the scroll represent a delay. As the seals are loosed, we see delays all around them:

Revelation 7:3saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.”

Revelation 8:1When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.

The Bridegroom is the only one worthy to open these seals. He is not slack, but he is desiring no one perish. The delay is intended to sift people into the safe place before the trouble starts to increase exponentially. The Bridegroom is guaranteed to be delayed before the Bride starts shining:

Matthew 25:1“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.

2“Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

3“Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them,

4“but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

5“But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.

6“And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’

7“Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.

There is a guaranteed delay in the final week.

Both Daniel and John were shown this delay, related to seals:

Daniel 12:4“But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

5Then I, Daniel, looked; and there stood two others, one on this riverbank and the other on that riverbank.

6And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, “How long shall the fulfillment of these wonders be?”

7Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever, that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished.

8Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, “My lord, what shall be the end of these things?”

9And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

The loosing of the seals represent the end of a delay....both the long time of the betrothal, and the delay of the seals themselves. John saw this reality as he saw the seven thunders sealed, then when they are loosed, there is no more delay:

Revelation 10:2He had a little book open in his hand. And he set his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land,

3and cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars. When he cried out, seven thunders uttered their voices.

4Now when the seven thunders uttered their voices, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, “Seal up the things which the seven thunders uttered, and do not write them.”

5The angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised up his hand to heaven

6and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there should be delay no longer,

7but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.

8Then the voice which I heard from heaven spoke to me again and said, “Go, take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the earth.”

9So I went to the angel and said to him, “Give me the little book.” And he said to me, “Take and eat it; and it will make your stomach bitter, but it will be as sweet as honey in your mouth.”

10Then I took the little book out of the angel’s hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter.

11And he said to me, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings.”

The thunders are the full prophetic voice of the bride...shining like a lamp through the night.

This is sealed until ready. The delay ends when the seals are loosed and the full prophetic voice comes forward to release all seven trumpets. Then the full call to wedding has been sent into the streets before the groom takes His bride to fulfill the ceremony. The two witnesses declare all has been fulfilled and the wedding is fulfilled.

The seals are the delay. The thunders are the trumpets. Just as the seven rays (horns) are the spectrum of visible light, the seven thunders are the full prophetic voice of the Lord, who speaks with a voice like a trumpet (Rev 1), through his mature Bride as she fulfills her 42 month ministry, just as he did.

1 John 4:17 NKJV — 17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.
