Real Sight
Because pride and impatience are what broke the earth, faith and patience are what humanity lacks to live in heaven.
One thing is broken, and, therefore, only one thing is required. Every other broken thing we see is a symptom of this one thing, and also cured by this one thing.
Since Adam and Eve, man has been born blind. If we could embrace that we were simply blind, we could be led by God in our lack of ability to see. But we aren't just blind. Pride made us blind and in man's pride, he grabbed and received a counterfeit sight.
The flesh offers us an impatient and doubt-filled alternative to the Spiritual sight lost in Eden.
Relying on the eyes instead of what the Spirit of God saw is what broke mankind, and thus the whole world:
Genesis 3:5-6 NKJV — “For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.
Their eyes... Their physical eyes... WERE opened. Arrogance flooded into the world, and suddenly man was judging what was good and evil for himself, based on an impatient and faithless way of seeing... Thinking he was his own God.
We did not make ourselves.
Though God made man with spiritual eyes to see what God saw, man rejected that dependency and decided impatiently, and faithlessly, to make our own judgments. We lost our ability to see. The Spirit vacated the areas where He was no longer welcome by man to lead.
God will not take second place. He refuses to live in a lie. God is God. But, for love, God will withdraw His leadership from the parts of man's being that refuse to acknowledge He is God and sees more, knows more, and understands more about life and it's goodness than we do. We are in charge of the earth, so rejecting
God in truth desolate the land in practice.
Salvation gives you Spiritual eyes again. You must choose to use them, or atrophy will cause you to loose sight. You aren't actually saved if you rely on your natural eyes, thoughts, and emotions, instead of letting God birth you again.
Your Spiritual eyes are like an infant's in the womb. They aren't ready to operate independently. By the time they are, you won't want to operate independently!
Patience and faith are required to remain in the safe womb if rebirth... doing only what the Father does... following Jesus into heaven, where your faith and patience are rewarded.
Immature Spirit-filled believers, want the power to see and impatiently imagine they know everything. Mature Spirit-filled believers would prefer to be naturally blind and let the Spirit lead them at the deepest level possible. They love needing God:
Isaiah 42:18-20 NKJV — “Hear, you deaf;
And look, you blind, that you may see. Who is blind but My servant,
Or deaf as My messenger whom I send?
Who is blind as he who is perfect,
And blind as the LORD’s servant? Seeing many things, but you do not observe;
Opening the ears, but he does not hear.”
Or deaf as My messenger whom I send?
Who is blind as he who is perfect,
And blind as the LORD’s servant? Seeing many things, but you do not observe;
Opening the ears, but he does not hear.”
God is raising up a weak, faith-filled, Spirit-led, aware-they-are-being-born-again remnant from the church rn. These are the witnesses that will invite the willing into humility and salvation, not the arrogant "win the world" harlot we see rising up in defiance all around us, pushing Israel into the same defiance.
The letters to the seven churches in revelation 2 and 3 tell us what we can't see and invite us into weakness and humility.
Judgment will expose our arrogance and impatience which manifests as trying to be good, trying to judge good from evil, trying to know what to do, save up enough, go to the right things and resist the wrong things, spending our time telling God and everyone else how they are wrong and arrogantly thinking we are right. Without weakness, blindness, and deafness, we will "try" ourselves right out of God's kingdom, just as Adam and Eve did on one painful day where sight became desolation...
... Just like the generation that couldn't see Jesus' first coming:
Matthew 23:23-36 NKJV — “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone. “Blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel! “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence. “Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. “Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous, “and say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.’ “Therefore you are witnesses against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. “Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers’ guilt. “Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell? “Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes: some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city, “that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. “Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation.
When you connect with what the Spirit sees, you stop watching impatiently for what the flesh wants to see.
No one knows how this is going down. Hearing the prophecies with your natural ears, and Interpreting them with your natural thoughts IS the test/trap designed to find and sift out arrogance from the kingdom.
Jesus IS coming like a thief. If you watch with your eyes, your thoughts, and your emotions, the judgments being released will gather you OUT of the kingdom.
Watching for what you think God will do is fruitless vanity. Watching knowing it's too glorious to understand and snuggling up under His wing is fruitful and safe.
Yes, if you learn patience and faith in God's willingness to take us in and show us things we don't understand, not so we can graduate, but so we can settle into forever needing Him...
Yes, if you learn patience and faith in God's willingness to take us in and show us things we don't understand, not so we can graduate, but so we can settle into forever needing Him...
If you learn humility to see you couldn't possibly understand the infinite ways God is shaking the earth without violating the free will of humanity... That His ways are higher... Better... Unsearchable... He will start to tell you His secrets and cause you to stand on them.
*You will see what very few see
*Know what very few know
*Feel what very few feel
*And do what very few will do
*Know what very few know
*Feel what very few feel
*And do what very few will do
Revelation 13:7-10 NKJV — It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If anyone has an ear, let him hear. He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
Very few will stop fighting where this is all going. But, if you do, you will be kept through the tribulation in weakness. Jesus will be the hero, not you! And, though you are well aware you are blind and deaf... You will be leadable in weakness!
This is what Jesus instructed the churches to embrace in the then coming judgment. That judgment is here. It's now.
As we prepare to pray for Israel, let us embrace that we don't see her rightly from the get-go. That we don't see ourselves rightly. Let's let God lead us and show us something new.
This won't just help us navigate the next 21 days. This will help us navigate the remainder of the shaking designed to find patience and faith and sift out impatience, arrogance, and doubt.
Amos 9:9-15 NKJV — “For surely I will command,
And will sift the house of Israel among all nations,
As grain is sifted in a sieve;
Yet not the smallest grain shall fall to the ground. All the sinners of My people shall die by the sword,
Who say, ‘The calamity shall not overtake nor confront us.’ “On that day I will raise up
The tabernacle of David, which has fallen down,
And repair its damages;
I will raise up its ruins,
And rebuild it as in the days of old; That they may possess the remnant of Edom,
And all the Gentiles who are called by My name,”
Says the LORD who does this thing. “Behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD,
“When the plowman shall overtake the reaper,
And the treader of grapes him who sows seed;
The mountains shall drip with sweet wine,
And all the hills shall flow with it. I will bring back the captives of My people Israel;
They shall build the waste cities and inhabit them;
They shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them;
They shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them. I will plant them in their land,
And no longer shall they be pulled up
From the land I have given them,”
Says the LORD your God.
