Antichrist Worship

It is important to understand the nature of the antichrist's program to get the world to worship him. It has three stages:

1. Water down religions by making them more inclusive

2. Join religions together, using one very violent religion to scare people into action

3. Once people have broken the fundamental bonds of loyalty to the religion of their Fathers...then, at just the right moment...antichrist, using the threat of force will demand that he be the only one worshiped.

Daniel 11:36-39 “Then the king (antichrist) shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the wrath has been accomplished; for what has been determined shall be done. He shall regard neither the God of his fathers nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall exalt himself above them all. But in their place he shall honor a god of fortresses; and a god which his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things. Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain.

Antichrist does this not because he wants to be evil, but rather because he believes religion is what is standing in the way of peace. His theme song is John Lennon's "Imagine"...imagine there is no religion...nothing to live or die for...

Antichrist does not believe he is evil. He thinks he is a savior...the one who can finally make the earth right. Like Hitler, he will justify his evil means because of their glorious intended result: peace, equity, and global stability.

In order to make this cake, he knows he has to break some eggs. He fuels the extreme elements of a violent religion...advancing it's glory...secretly...while watering down the true religion of power, Christianity. He is playing both sides. He is not a Christian, a Buddhist, or a Muslim...he is anti-religion, but he wants all sides thinking he is one of them.

What happens is a global united religion that seems for a little while to "get stuff done". Fundamentals , those who remain loyal to the gods of their fathers, are seen as the enemy to unity, they are called traitors and killed globally for resisting the new chance for global peace:

Revelation 13:5-9 And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If anyone has an ear, let him hear.

The antichrist recruits a man called the False Prophet...one of the most prolific religious leaders earth has ever seen, but also a socialist like the antichrist, to join him in his efforts to create a perfect globe apart from loyalty to Jesus. This false prophet looks meek and humble, but talks like satan, mixing Bible verses with lies. This man will tell Christians that it is ok with God to follow the antichrist...that God cares more about results than loyalty to any one religion. The false prophet will convince millions that the new global economy, which requires new technology...a mark... attached to the hand or head, is ok with God...millions of Christians will believe their religious leader:

Revelation 13:11-16 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb (he appears to be like Jesus...this man calls himself a Christian) and spoke like a dragon (mixing the Bible with lies...he has Bible verses that give comfort to follow the antichrist). And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads,

What results from all of this is world war. When the Arab nations realize the antichrist isn't really for them or Islam, they rebel against Him...first in Egypt,then Syria...Russia and Iran also attack him in a coordinated way. That is when antichrist invades the middle east with all his great military might, sets up a base of operations in Israel, where his troops have been maintaining order, and then demands worship by putting up a statue of himself like Nebuchadnezzar:

Daniel 11:40-45 “At the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through. He shall also enter the Glorious Land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of Ammon. He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians shall follow at his heels. But news from the east and the north shall trouble him; therefore he shall go out with great fury to destroy and annihilate many. And he shall plant the tents of his palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and no one will help him.

These are the events that mark the beginning of the great tribulation. I believe these things will culminate in the summer of 2017, for reasons I have written extensively about. If you see this happening, you need to know what God has said over and over about it: be ready, you will be here to bring in the harvest if you don't fall away. This is the time that will test all people:

Daniel 12:1-4 “At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever. “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”
