God Never Wastes Faith

God will never leave faith unused.

In all the people who have ever lived on planet earth, very few have had heart-changing faith in God.

God is good.  He asks us, "what would you do with a person of faith like you?  Would you waste their faith and not give them the desires of their heart-turned-toward-truth?!  Of course not.  How much more so, God?!"

God is good. He is a good creator, a good king, a good manager, a good steward, a good father, a good friend. So much better than we are.  If you wouldn't waste a loyal person's faith, how much more a good God would do with it!

2 Chronicles 16:8-9 NKJV — “Were the Ethiopians and the Lubim not a huge army with very many chariots and horsemen? Yet, because you relied on the LORD, He delivered them into your hand. “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.”

Asa had faith, then turned his eyes to circumstances.  His circumstances went from scary to tragic because he abandoned faith.  The wind and the waves took his eyes off his true strength. Trouble found his pride.

Run. Into. Faith.

Wherever you are right now, run into faith.  Go hard after it. Grab onto the goodness of God.  Look at the beauty all around us. Breath the air. Feel your heartbeat.  A good good is still reigning.  He is shaking everything to find faith, and when He finds it, He pours out strength.

-Don't worry about your impact.

-Don't worry about your reputation.

-Don't worry about what feels too small or too big.

-get your eyes off of what people might, or might not, do. Put them on what God is doing!

Believe God made you for a good purpose and get thankful. Get hopeful. Get vision for something beyond what's happening "right now." Get into your future with God. Let God get into your future with you!

The story isn't finished yet.  Maybe faith has you building something no one could even understand what it's for yet?!  Maybe faith has you going against the grain of where the world is so excited to go?  Maybe faith has you prophetically running ahead of where your church is right now, or maybe faith has you waiting on God when everyone else is restless and impatient.  Get out of worry, BE ANXIOUS ABOUT NOTHING, and get into the conversation with God.

Our anxiety and fear finds its way out of our hearts in criticism, complaining, fear, victimization, depression, and doubt.  Our faith finds its way out of our mouths in hope, gratitude, and joyful expectation. Listen to yourself.

Psalm 19:14 NKJV — Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.

Matthew 15:18 NKJV — “But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man.

Luke 6:45 NKJV — “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

If you are hearing the wrong thing, don't change your speech. ASK GOD TO CHANGE TOUR HEART.  Gritting your teeth and trying to sound different isn't true or helpful. Let God change your heart until praise naturally flows out of it.

Wherever you are right now, forget what is behind you and run into faith.

He will do it if you believe it about Him... Not your way... Not the way everyone else would do it.  No! His way.  In a way unseen until it's seen... A way that rewards FAITH!

Everything isn't going sideways.  It's right on track. You need faith to stay on His tracks and not wander into lawlessness right now.  Lawlessness will sink and drown in this season. Those who fix their eyes on God will walk on water.

Hebrews 11:1-10 NKJV — Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks. By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith. By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
