Consumed or Consuming (Sheep or Wolf?)

If I am not ACTING in Jesus, then I am not increasing righteousness. If I really believe He is God's son... the example of heaven's heart sent to earth... it will change my will.

Righteousness isn't taught. It grows.

If God were just going to lecture the world into righteousness, He wouldn't have sent Yeshua.

Jesus is a seed. He said it himself:

John 12:24-26 NKJV — “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. “He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. “If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.

This is what it is like to be IN Jesus, or one with Him... This is what it's like to have His life grow into yours:

Isaiah 42:1-10 NKJV — “Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, 

My Elect One in whom My soul delights!

I have put My Spirit upon Him;

He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles. He will not cry out, nor raise His voice,

Nor cause His voice to be heard in the street. A bruised reed He will not break,

And smoking flax He will not quench;

He will bring forth justice for truth. He will not fail nor be discouraged,

Till He has established justice in the earth;

And the coastlands shall wait for His law.” Thus says God the LORD,

Who created the heavens and stretched them out,

Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it,

Who gives breath to the people on it,

And spirit to those who walk on it: “I, the LORD, have called You in righteousness,

And will hold Your hand;

I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people,

As a light to the Gentiles, To open blind eyes,

To bring out prisoners from the prison,

Those who sit in darkness from the prison house. I am the LORD, that is My name;

And My glory I will not give to another,

Nor My praise to carved images. Behold, the former things have come to pass,

And new things I declare;

Before they spring forth I tell you of them.” Sing to the LORD a new song,

And His praise from the ends of the earth,

You who go down to the sea, and all that is in it,

You coastlands and you inhabitants of them!

This is what Jesus is like. He is unchanging. If His life has grown into mine, I am like this, too... More and more I rest under pressure.  If I am one with Jesus, need doesn't move me (think of Lazarus dead 4 days), fear doesn't move me, opportunity doesn't move me (He didn't turn the stones to bread), fame doesn't move me, rejection doesn't move me... Only God moves me.  That is the seed of righteousness Jesus planted on planet earth: "not my will, but yours, Father."

That seed has grown in narrow and difficult places. But, there are mostly imposters.

Matthew 7:12-15 NKJV — “Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. “Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

The true kingdom road is narrow.  It doesn't FEEL right. It disagrees with human appetite for righteousness.  

Unless I get Jesus' appetite, I am a false witness.

Mostly false wheat.  No fruit, only show. No life of Jesus, just trying to save lives.  Competitors of Jesus', not submitters to His will and lifestyle.

God is gathering all the tares right now.  They sound alike.  They push alike. They have different agendas, but the same mouth, the same fear, the same control, the same lawlessness, the same heart...

No real life of God, just wanting to be known as godly.  That is what Satan is like. He wants God's throne, but not His life. God is nothing like Satan and Satan is nothing like God.

Right now, it's the best time to really let the life of Jesus grow in me.  He is coming soon.  I want Him to find me IN Him, not pushing the world toward Him... That is what Satan is like.

Jesus requires something different. Salt. Light. Shining a different light than the world.  Not trying to force my self-righteousness onto the world around me, but rather passively shining HIS righteousness out from me as I internally burn violently with passion for Him. Consumed, not consuming.

Some people want to be consumed by God's leadership.  It's narrow. Few find that.  Most just want to think of themselves as righteous.  God doesn't believe in self righteousness... Only in His Son's life.  I can know by what I want.  Do I want the world to change, or me?  Yeshua is only accepting those the Father gives Him OUT of the world.
