Yeshua Leads Me to a Better Life!

I cannot blame the shepherd if I don't want to be led.  It's easy to become Christian in name... Not really finding the joy of salvation, but all the facts and burden of it.  This will make you hard and life less abundant.

Becoming a follower of Jesus in the Spirit requires a willingness to be led.

God isn't searching for experts in God. There are none.

God is willing to lead those willing to be led into something more.

Psalm 95:7-8 NKJV — For He is our God,

And we are the people of His pasture,

And the sheep of His hand.

Today, if you will hear His voice: “Do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion,

As in the day of trial in the wilderness,

God's people rebelled when He tried to give them something better, because they didn't want to lose what they thought they had, even though it was slavery.

God's people.  Not some people who didn't know Him.  The people who knew Him best.

Jesus rejects those who tell Him and others how things ought to be, according to their knowledge.  He leads those who let Him move them into deeper understanding by His voice. Who soften, not harden, in the things of God.

Most people just want to be experts, not children. That's the flesh warring against the Spirit.

I want to go ahead and let God move me today.  I know God is moving me because my life in the Spirit gets better!  More abundant. More enjoyable. My life in the flesh will certainly be risked and suffer, but life in the Spirit gets BETTER following Jesus.  I enjoy my days more the more I give them to Jesus...  He handles my life better than I do, not worse... It's just that He leads me to a place the world isn't chasing after. It's better, though! I just can't see it's better than my way before He leads me there.  Faith chooses His way and reaps more life.

Religion destroys life, and the true witness of His good leadership, because it's trying to know God without His leadership.  It's futile and exhausting.

Jesus didn't lay down His life because His misery paid the price for sin.  He laid down His life for the JOY set before Him.  He picked it. It's what He wanted once His will was set aside.  He has no regrets.  There has never been a man more alive or more satisfied than Yeshua.

John 10:7-18 NKJV — Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. “All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. “But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. “The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. “I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. “As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. “And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd. “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. “No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.”
