Part 2


Daniel and John (author of the Book of Revelation) were given great insight into the events of OUR day:


Daniel 12:4 “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”


Daniel's prophecies have proven to be so detailed and accurate that many scholars actually used the accuracy of the Book of Daniel to discredit it. They used to say there is no way Daniel could have been written before the events it describes, because no one could be that right! The discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1947 was a gift to the world to demonstrate that Daniel was, in fact, written well in advance of the events it described.


Daniel and John were told specifically of the last empire that would try to control the earth and dominate Israel. Both Daniel and John were given the same image. This empire, unlike any other the world has seen, will be a fierce creature that devours everything that disagrees with it, and out of that creature that stops living for a while and then re-emerges on the world scene, 10 horns (10 middle eastern nations in agreement) will grow, and then an11th king would come up later, align with the 10, uproot three of them, and then they would give their power to the 11th king in an attempt to advance their agenda of world domination. The 11th king...the antichrist...is carrying the wealthiest and most luxurious country "on his back", while at the same time, this wealthy and luxurious country is carrying Him. But this is the most telling part of the whole deal: the 10 countries that align with the antichrist actually HATE the country he is carrying, and HE hates the country he is carrying. In the end, they all turn on this country they hate, and "burn it with fire":


Daniel 7:23-25 “Thus he said: ‘The fourth beast shall be A fourth kingdom on earth, Which shall be different from all other kingdoms, And shall devour the whole earth, Trample it and break it in pieces. The ten horns are ten kings Who shall arise from this kingdom. And another shall rise after them; He shall be different from the first ones, And shall subdue three kings. He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, And shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand For a time and times and half a time.


Revelation 17:3-4 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication.


Revelation 17:12-16 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.” Then he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues. And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire.


Revelation 18:8-9 Therefore her plagues will come in one day—death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her. “The kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her will weep and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning,


I know this is a lot of symbolic imagery, but there is an incredible thing to watch for here, because the statistical odds of this thing happening are astronomical. Look what is easily distilled from these passages:


10 kings align with an 11th who is not like them, but shares their same agenda: the destruction of the country he carries on his back and a desire to control and destroy Israel.


Then, the 11th king, a false "messiah" known in the Bible as the antichrist, "uproots" the leaders of three of the countries to advance his agenda and solidify his control. The 10 countries aligned with the antichrist then give allegiance to him, even though they hate the country riding on his back because of its corruption through extravagant wealth and luxury.


And then in one swift and sudden move, they all turn on that luxurious and corrupt place...because they have always hated it!


What a schizophrenic relationship these 10 kings have with the 11th, and the 11th king has with the "woman" riding on him! The woman is paying no attention, blindly riding this man to her destruction because her focus on comfort and luxury has totally blinded her to what she has "become":


Revelation 18:2-3 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.”


This schizophrenic alignment of kings and countries is really something to watch for, for when it happens it will be a great sign to the world that the events Daniel and John spoke of are at the door!


Jesus said to watch and be ready!

Matthew 24:42-44 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
