Prayer to Music

There is a great move of God supernaturally being released across the whole earth. It is the establishment of night and day worship all over the globe. Places where people, in shifts, are offering God "prayer to music" continuously, or semi-continuously, with the intention of eventually operating non-stop, night and day. This is the rebuilding of the tabernacle of David, as promised by the Old Testament prophets and Jesus. It seems like a new thing, but it is actually a very old concept:


David put 4,000 singers and musicians to work offering night and day worship:


I Chronicles 9:33 These are the singers, heads of the fathers’ houses of the Levites, who lodged in the chambers, and were free from other duties; for they were employed in that work day and night.


Amos said that before the "Day of the Lord" (the return of Jesus) this would happen again:


Amos 9:11 “On that day I will raise up The tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, And repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, And rebuild it as in the days of old;


Isaiah said it would agree with God's purposes for Israel (so did Amos):


Isaiah 62:6 I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord , do not keep silent,


These prophesied watchmen are going to be singing their prayers!


Isaiah 52:8 Your watchmen shall lift up their voices, With their voices they shall sing together; For they shall see eye to eye When the Lord brings back Zion.


Jesus PROMISED to answer the cry of the night and day watchmen, who would be His Church...His elect...at His second coming. BUT He also wondered out loud how many of His elect would "get it!"


Luke 18:7-8 And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”


The night and day prayer movement is really about the Bride of Jesus coming together to agree with Jesus. There are many amazing aspects to what Jesus has planned for the night and day worshiping and praying Bride, but primarily she will intercede for the earth, centering on Jesus' plan for Israel. She will do this in 1. Unity and 2. In a time of trouble. In fact, she will grow in agreement as the trouble mounts.


Jesus said that the time leading up to His return is like a field growing wheat and weeds...tares. He said the wheat is righteousness, and the tares are wickedness. They are both going to mature together until the harvest. The wheat is a pure and spotless Bride, the tares are the fruit of the most perverse generation to ever live. They will both inhabit planet earth at the same time in one generation!


Matthew 13:27-30, 38-40 So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’ But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.” ’ ...


...” The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age.


The Pure and Spotless Bride comes into the time leading up to Jesus' return "divided" in seven basic ways. Jesus addresses the 7 characteristic churches on the earth at the time of the Book of Revelation's unfolding. He points out to each type of church where they are strong, and where they fall short. He then tells them how to overcome! They WILL overcome...those who say yes...in unity. This is what Jesus prayed prophetically:


John 17:23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.


This happens during the Great Tribulation. Seven churches are addressed before the tribulation (Rev. 2 and 3), and only one Bride is addressed after the start of the Great Tribulation (the rest of the book of Rev.). If you belong to the one allowing the tribulation, the tribulation is actually good:


Romans 5:3-5 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.


As the Bride comes together to worship and pray night and day, to agree with Jesus, to contend for what He is contending for, and to stand in loyalty to Jesus empowered by the greatest outpouring of the Holy Spirit earth has ever seen, she will spend more and more time together. This is going to have a huge effect on the Bride's appearance. That is what Jesus promised: the "oneness" would change the way she looked, and she would be a witness to the world of Jesus by her appearance in unity!


This is a huge part of this promise:


Revelation 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.”


This is how we will make our self (the Bride) ready: by agreeing with Jesus about unity, day and night worship, and His plans to return. Jesus isn't intending to "homogenize" the church, but to "assemble a body." Right now his feet are distant from the legs, and the knees, and the torsos...He is going to bring each expression, each part of His body, back together. Not to make them all one hand, or one foot, but so that the orchestra of each body part can perform the final symphony in a darkening world to reveal His glory!


This is what excites me so much about the House of Prayer in Kalamazoo! Up until now, the vast majority of places contending for night and day prayer have been individual organizations getting the message. What is happening here is the different expressions of Jesus' Body...the hand and feet, and eyes, and ears...are all coming together to work at this in unity! Not to become a new church, but to create a gathering point for the churches to pray together! This is a huge advancement in what Jesus promised is going to happen!


This is HOP 2.0...Jesus is advancing His Biblical agenda here in a unique way as a forerunner to what is promised to touch the whole earth! As we spend time together, the whole body will be strengthened. We'll see the strengths in each other, we'll see and help each other contend for the fullness of "overcoming" in our individual weaknesses...we'll wash and purify each other with the Word...and we'll make ourselves ready for a glorious eternity agreeing with Jesus in governing creation!





Revelation 2:26-29 And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations— ‘He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’ — as I also have received from My Father; and I will give him the morning star. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’
