End Time Babylon (pt 2)

This is what Jesus says will happen when antichrist invades Israel under the guise of keeping His promise to protect her (Daniel 11:40-45):


Matthew 24:15-22 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.


Jesus is describing the same thing Isaiah did...referring to the 7-year peace treaty as the "treaty with death":


Isaiah 28:18-19 Your covenant with death will be annulled, And your agreement with Sheol will not stand; When the overflowing scourge passes through, Then you will be trampled down by it. As often as it goes out it will take you; For morning by morning it will pass over, And by day and by night; It will be a terror just to understand the report.”


When the antichrist breaks the deal, he will have the audacity to set up a statue of himself to be worshiped. He will use an extensive surveillance system networked with his high-tech statue to monitor the whole world to see who isn't worshiping him, and those will be arrested and threatened with death, or worse...just like Nazi Germany, Stalin...Mao...every great socialistic experiment ends the same way. No one will be able to participate in the government or economy that doesn't worship the golden statue (remember Nebuchadnezzar?):


Revelation 13:14-17 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.


So back to the warning!


There is much to do in advance of these events, that I believe are just around the corner:


Joel 2:11-14 The Lord is at the head of the column. He leads them with a shout. This is his mighty army, and they follow his orders. The day of the Lord is an awesome, terrible thing. Who can possibly survive? That is why the Lord says, “Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning. Don’t tear your clothing in your grief, but tear your hearts instead.” Return to the Lord your God, for he is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. He is eager to relent and not punish. Who knows? Perhaps he will give you a reprieve, sending you a blessing instead of this curse. Perhaps you will be able to offer grain and wine to the Lord your God as before.


This is a worldwide mandate, but special attention should be given to those living in end time Babel. The antichrist carries the superpower and the superpower carries Him. He is her leader. John had to be taken into the wilderness...away from the news of the day...and contemplate what was happening. It wasn't obvious, he was surprised when he finally realized what was happening...but once He got away with the truth for a minute, it became apparent:


Revelation 17:3, 7 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. ...But the angel said to me, “Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.


So the country that carries this man...the wealthiest country to ever inhabit planet earth...the last gentile superpower that messes with Israel...has a warning: MANY of God's people live in her, and He tells them "come out"...stop agreeing with her...recognize the time and place you live in! Don't store up weapons, or build a bunker! No! Press in to God with prayer, like Joel said...night and day!


Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.


God isn't saying change addresses! He didn't tell Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to run away! He said get ready to stand!!


God is saying "come out of her deception." Live in agreement with God. If a group of people living in a geographic location will see the time, and press in to God...come together in one accord and pray...they will establish a city of refuge for the coming storm...the time of trouble that is sure to come. Now is the time to come out and pray night and day. To seek one thing, so that we are safe in the time of trouble. This is what David's Tabernacle was ALL ABOUT:


Psalms 27:4-6 One thing I have desired of the Lord , That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord , And to inquire in His temple. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord .


Jesus agrees:





Luke 18:7-8 Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?”
