The False Prophet

The false prophet is a promised world leader who will give credence to the antichrist’s agenda of false unity and remaking the world more justly. He is “another beast,” meaning his character is like that of the antichrist…trading power for loyalty…cunningly and secretly advancing the agenda of dividing the land for gain in order to consolidate power. He is a socialist, believing in the establishment of equity through the redistribution of wealth. Both the false prophet and the antichrist have the heart of their father, satan:


Ezekiel 28:14-16 "You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. (15) You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity was found in you. (16) "By the abundance of your trading You became filled with violence within, And you sinned; Therefore I cast you as a profane thing Out of the mountain of God; And I destroyed you, O covering cherub, From the midst of the fiery stones.


It was the abundance of lucifer’s trading that corrupted him. Though he was placed in a high position, he wanted more. He wanted to ascend and set his throne above God. His plan was crafty, but rooted in deceit. Only blinding pride would make him think it would work. He offered the angels who would listen a higher position in his planned government over creation. Rebel against God and I will give you more than He did…satan traded wealth that didn’t belong to him yet to the other angels for their loyalty to his cause. The first re-distributor.


Daniel 11:24 Without warning he will enter the richest areas of the land. Then he will distribute among his followers the plunder and wealth of the rich—something his predecessors had never done. He will plot the overthrow of strongholds, but this will last for only a short while.


Daniel 11:39 Claiming this foreign god's help, he will attack the strongest fortresses. He will honor those who submit to him, appointing them to positions of authority and dividing the land among them as their reward.


The son reflects the father. Just like Jesus said “if you have seen me, you have seen the father.” Antichrist and the false prophet could say the same thing. In fact, the false prophet speaks just like the dragon…satan himself:


Revelation 13:11-13 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. (12) And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. (13) He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men.


How does the dragon speak? He uses the word of God. He speaks like the Lamb, but with the heart intent of the wolf. Like His Father, the false prophet is a pseudo Bible toting religious leader who twists the Word to accomplish His desire…false unity, not based on the truth of the Word, but the slippery landscape of emotion, convincing the world that love is god, instead of the truth. Listen to the voice of the dragon, the false prophet speaks the same way:


Genesis 3:1-4 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden'?" (2) And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; (3) but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.' " (4) Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die.


Matthew 4:6-7 and said to Him, "If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written: 'HE SHALL GIVE HIS ANGELS CHARGE OVER YOU,' and, IN THEIR HANDS THEY SHALL BEAR YOU UP, LEST YOU DASH YOUR FOOT AGAINST A STONE.' " (7) Jesus said to him, "It is written again, 'YOU SHALL NOT TEMPT THE LORD YOUR GOD.' "


The false prophet will be an incredibly prominent religious leader with a large following that he will manipulate to follow the dragon with words that sound like a lamb. He will cause all the earth to fall into worship of the antichrist. He will convince many Christians that it is ok to take the mark of the new world currency…called in the Bible the mark of the beast. He will perform miracles. Even healing miracles that will lend credence to him first, and later the antichrist.


Revelation 13:12-17 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. (13) He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. (14) And he deceives those who dwell on the earth—by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. (15) He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. (16) He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, (17) and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.


Jesus said this:


John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.





Any religious leader claiming to represent Him should be saying the same thing.
