Unique
When God formed you, He formed you with a plan and a purpose. You are not a random occurrence, everyone was formed with a divine plan and purpose in mind. Only you can be who you are to God. No two people, even twins, are exactly alike on the outside, let alone the inside. Only you have a heart like yours. Only you can respond to God the way you do.
God's plan for you is part of His kingdom. His plan for you is important to Him...for Him. He is committed to you not missing it. The devil distracts us by accusing us of missing it. God will not let that happen. But He is so loving. Even though HE has a stake in your plan coming to fruition, He doesn't force you into it. In fact, He will let you go on living your own plan if you like. It is possible to be saved by Jesus' death and resurrection, and still never step into the fullness of His plan for you..how tragic to miss this truth, because God's plan for you perfectly matches the desires HE placed in your heart. There are some real things you hope your life will be like, and some of those He has placed there. He didn't put them there to let them go unfulfilled. There is a guaranteed formula to getting those desires satisfied in agreement with God's plan: delight yourself in God and commit your way to Him (chase after Him, and set your heart to agree with Him) (Psalm 37:4-6).
Since your plan is part of God's kingdom, it comes together like God's kingdom. There are principles to the kingdom we have to know if we want our lives to agree with God. The biggest by far is that we get the kingdom by asking, seeking, and knocking...we don't earn the kingdom, we point our desire to God by asking Him for the parts of the kingdom we desire, and He gives it to us. But there is another principal God is working in my heart...the mustard seed likeness of the kingdom:
Matthew 13:31 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, 32 which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches.”
If you want your kingdom plan to grow to fullness, don't try to be the great one He has planned for you to be. Enjoy the position of being the "least of the seeds" and He will enjoy showing the world that you are really a mighty tree. There is another hidden principal here: the delay of growing. The time required for a seed that is planted to become a tree big enough for birds to nest in is significant. This doesn't mean the things you are waiting for are years away, it means God's timing is perfect for a tree, and it is perfect for you. Trust His timing.
When it comes to the desires of your heart: delight yourself in Him, go after Him (ask Him for more several times a day, short 20 second prayers to open your heart from the inside to Him), but don't try to be anything but a person in love with God, and let Him grow you from the least of all these, to the tree He is committed to!
